Should you be playing Pro V1, Pro V1x or AVX?

With winter on the way out, we’re looking forward to the weather getting a little warmer and getting out on the course as often as possible. But we have a question for you:

Are you looking to start spring with anything new in your bag?

Now is the time to practice with and find your ideal ball before competition season gets underway. Who knows, you might find a new favourite to help you reach the best spot on the short grass…

#1 has just got better

Titleist is one of the most trusted brands you’ll see on the course, with greats of the game such as Cameron Smith and Justin Thomas flying their colours. If you’ve somehow still not heard of it, Titleist’s flagship ball, the Pro V1, performs time and again with an updated version already sitting on the shelves for 2023.

The high gradient core tech allows for both long game spin and longer distance, so you’ll have bucket loads of confidence when standing on the tee. The spherically-tiled 388 tetrahedral dimples help give you a consistent ball flight. Not only will you be hitting it further, the urethane cover coating gives you great spin control around the greens. It’s called the ‘#1 ball in golf’ for a reason, and that’s because no matter your ability, the Pro V1 will help you play consistently and shoot lower scores.

Pro V1 or Pro V1x?

If you’re after a higher flight with more spin, you may be inclined to go for the Pro V1x ball. It has all the attributes of the standard Pro V1 but this model offers you more flight on your shots, which makes it an ideal choice if you have a naturally low trajectory. It's all thanks to the spherically-tiled 348 tetrahedral dimple pattern and is noticeable from the very first shot you hit.

Ultimate distance

The Velocity ball is made for helping you achieve one key thing: distance. The LSX core is designed to get your ball speed up and help produce that much-wanted distance, with the round 350 octahedral dimple design helping to achieve an impressively high ball flight at the same time . You’ll be flying off the tee and gaining ground on the fairways with the Velocity. The Velocity model is aesthetically pleasing and comes in a few different colours, including white, matte orange, matte green, and matte blue.
